Come and join us to learn about the bewildering story of the Grey Owl who saved Canada’s national animal, the beaver, from extinction, and became a catalyst for wildlife conservation in the National Parks.

This talk by David Ireson will take you on a journey through the Canadian wilderness and show the numerous conservation issues present.

‘Greta Thunberg’s pleading for us all to act to reduce climate destruction has made me anxious about flying out to Canada again… but I want a better Autumn picture of a bull moose… or could I do that by taking a train to Sweden?’
